ADDITIONAL NOTES: Archibald Patterson & Martha (Topping) Patterson came to America to live first in PA (unknown town) soon to move to Walsenburg (loosing first two children, Lilly and Mary). They purchased two mines - Scottish Maid Load and Caledonia Load with Henry Sneddon, Alexander Allison, James Hill, William Clark, James Allison, and Alexander Topping in 1886. - Copies of deeds available.
The Patterson family traveled to Scotland twice in the early 1900s for visits.
