(you can read about him leaving for Fisk in the H. County "News of the Day" on this site.) He was the only Black Sulky racer (1909-1910) in the area.

NOTES: We were stationed overseas when my Grandfather passed away, so my Mother wasn't able to come back to the states for his funeral. She has fond memories of him as a child before she, her Mother and her Stepfather moved to California. She remembers loving moments with her Mother, (Alice Jackson) and her father as a child. I think my older brother got to meet him as a child. He is named after him, his (my bros) middle name is Price.
