Nancy Louise Trujillo - Pueblo Chieftain - September 26, 2000 - Nancy Louise Trujillo, 49, of Pueblo, left to be with the Lord after a lengthy illness. Preceded in death by sister, Doris L. Armijo; brothers, Little Sam, George, Ralph and Victor; and parents Fermin and Eleanor Trujillo. She leaves to celebrate her life her son, Mario (Jeanette Rael) Trujillo; her companion, Tom Valarde; special friend, Juanita Rael; and her grandsons, Mariano Rael and Daniel Ponce, with a special appreciation to Anthony and Delia and extended family. Survived by Edith (Juan) Leiba, Fernando (Eleanor) Trujillo, Robert Trujillo, Betty (Eugene) Bustamante, Catherine Trujillo, Peggy Trujillo-Espinoza, Michael (Rose) Trujillo, Corinne Trujillo and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. Godmother to Diane Armijo. Nancy was a graduate of East High School. Nancy started and ended several careers in her lifetime from Probation Officer to Vocational Counselor to Cosmetologist and most recently she tended bar at the Klamm Shell. Nancy's greatest love besides her grandchildren was her love for the Denver Broncos, the KDZA trivia game and cooking for her family. A special thanks to Debbie Arguello, CNA, Professional Home Health Services, Maxim Home Health Services, and St. Mary-Corwin Hospital and staff. Family will receive friends at 944 E. Nathan "Nate" Trujillo - Pueblo Chieftain - July 26, 2004 - Nathan "Nate" Trujillo, 20, of Pueblo. Born on Dec. 25, 1983, and was called by Jesus with his sweetheart Vanessa [Maestas] and their baby "Nemo," on Saturday, July 24, 2004. Nate is preceded in death by his grandparents, Don and Rose Ruybal. He is survived by his mother, Christine Arguello (Leroy Bachicha) of Pueblo West; father, Timothy Trujillo (Lynelle Spradley) of Pueblo; stepfather, David Arguello of Pueblo; grandparents, Floyd O. and Theresa D. Trujillo of Pueblo West; sisters, Myra Trujillo (Joe Vialpando), Priscilla Trujillo of Hobbs, N.M., Shantelle Arguello, Leilani Arguello; stepsister, Felicia Arguello; stepbrothers, David Jr. and Dan Arguello, all of Pueblo. Nate was uncle and nino to Noah Lee Vialpando and uncle to Natalie Vialpando; step-uncle to Dominic and Christyna. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and other friends and relatives. Nate had a huge love of the Lord and always treated his friends and loved ones with incredible respect and love. He was always proud to let others know he was a "mama's boy." His love of his family and friends carried over to the love of the outdoors and nature. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching and playing all kinds of sports. He also had a great sense of humor and loved life. He will be missed greatly by all that knew him and love him. Nick Trujillo - Huerfano World - January 20, 1994 - Nick Trujillo, 69, Poncha Springs, formerly of Walsenburg, died Jan. 12, 1994, in a car accident near Levelland, TX. Born June 1, 1924, in Walsenburg, he was a retired custodian for the Colorado Springs school system. Survivors include his wife, Inez, Poncha Springs; three sons, Tony and Gerald Trujillo, both of Colorado Springs and Matthew, Almont; two daughters, Rose Ann Lafferty, Vancouver, WA, and Vicky Wilson, Cabot, AR; two brothers, John Trujillo and Robert Trujillo, both of Walsenburg; a stepson and two stepdaughters; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral mass was Tuesday from St. Mary Church in Walsenburg. Burial was in Valdez Cemetery.
Noah Trujillo - Huerfano World - June 27, 1991 - Noah Trujillo, age 91, formerly of Aguilar, died June 18, 1991 in Trinidad State Nursing Home. He is survived by his wife Emilia, a daughter, grandchildren, sisters and brothers. Burial was in Masonic Cemetery in Trinidad.

Survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Ben Trujillo; children, Alberta Froehlich, Benjamin (Esther) Trujillo, Rick (Glenda) Trujillo; grandchildren, Jessica and Kaitlin Trujillo, Joshua Ben Trujillo; brothers and sisters, Jim (Jane) Cruz, Mary Oliva, Bob (Gloria) Cruz, Irene (Gary) Bushaea, Lupe (Richard) Tenorio, Jennie (Ken) Sanchez, John (Chung) Cruz, Fran (Bob) Carrillo, Laura (John) Thistle; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other family members including special friends, Julianna Ortiz and Arlene Lunis. Pablita Trujillo - Huerfano World - December 2, 1982 - Pablita Trujillo, 91, died Nov. 22, 1982 in the Walsenburg Care center where she had lived since 1975. Born Jan. 15, 1891 in Aguilar, she married Delfino Trujillo Aug, 24, 1911 at St. Mary Church. The couple ranched on the Trujillo property homesteaded by his grandparents. Mrs. Trujillo was a Silver Queen candidate at the Colorado State Fair in 1980. She is survived by three sons, Robert, John C. and Nick Trujillo all of Poncha Springs, eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial was Nov. 24. Burial was in Cucharas Cemetery east of Walsenburg. Furphy Lawson Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Paul Albert Trujillo - Pueblo Chieftain - December 29, 1998 - Paul Albert Trujillo, 49, passed away Dec. 26, 1998, at the VA Medical Center in Denver. The Roadrunner," as he was known to family and friends, was born April 29, 1949, in Del Norte. Served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict. Sergeant Trujillo lost a leg in the war and received the Purple Heart among other decorations, including the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Army Commendation, marksman badge and Bronze Star. A letter that his parents received after his being wounded in 1970 said in part One of the most gratifying aspects of being a battalion commander in Vietnam today is the pleasure of association with men like your son, Specialist Trujillo. Since his arrival eight months ago, he has continually worked long hours doing his job in direct support of those in the field. He is a professional with his `can do' work attitude has served a fine example for his fellow soldiers of the 1st Infantry Division. It's my pleasure to serve with him here in the Big Red One." Mr. Trujillo was a member of DAV Chapter 39. He enjoyed going to various gun shows, yard sales and flea markets. He also enjoyed fishing and gardening. To his grandchildren, he was Sugar Bear." Mr. Trujillo is survived by wife, Gloria Trujillo; sons, Charles (Jeannie) Trujillo, John (Ramona) Trujillo, Gerald (Darlene) Trujillo, Richard Trujillo; daughters, Kathryn Sandoval, Linda (Terry) Murrian, Arlene Trujillo, and Bernadette (Lorenzo) Griego; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and mother-in-law, Georgina Silverio. Also survived by brother, Cipriano (Victoria) Trujillo of Denver; sisters, Rose Bostain of Salt Lake City, Utah, Martha Gallegos of Denver; several nieces and nephews; and special nephew, Richard (Margaret) Murillo Sr. Preceded in death by brothers, Manuel Trujillo, in 1964, and Louie Trujillo, in 1974. Mr. Trujillo was born on April 24, 1915, in Valdez, Colo., and lived in Pueblo for the past 40 years. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a POW. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 61. Mr. Trujillo worked at CF&I Steel Corp. in the rail mill until he retired in 1977. Rosary recitation at 7 p.m. today at Imperial Chapel. Ralph T. Trujillo - Pueblo Chieftain - June 08, 2006 - Ralph T. Trujillo, 80, departed this life June 7, 2006, at St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center. Mr. Trujillo was born July 14, 1925, in Hagerman, N.M.; He served in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division during World War II, and saw action in the Battle of the Bulge. He retired from the CF&I Steel Mills Blast Furnace Department with over 43 years of service. He loved to walk and exercise; he also enjoyed dancing and bingo sessions. Member of Holy Family Parrish, Local 2102, Southern Colorado Senior Citizens Club and the former Latin American Club. Mr. Trujillo was known for his "Public Taxi," He took people who did not have a car to go to their doctor appointments, shopping or paying their bills. Ramona Marie Trujillo - Pueblo Chieftain - June 08, 2006 - Ramona Marie Trujillo, 82, beloved mother and grandmother departed this life June 5, 2006. She was born Nov. 1, 1924, in Montrose to Juan B. and Rufina Aragon-Quintana, who preceded her in death; also her husbands, Fred J. Trujillo, Jose Pacheco; and eight siblings. Ramona retired from the USAFA-Civil Service. She enjoyed crocheting, arts and crafts, bingo sessions, taking care of her grandchildren, the outdoors, fishing, and going to yard sales. She was a member of the American GI Forum Auxiliary. Ramona is survived by her children, Larry (Sandra) Trujillo, Fred (Veronica) Trujillo, Randy (Janet) Trujillo, Anthony (Debra Wilson) Trujillo, Elaine (Angelo) Trujillo-Alires, Patrick (Cheryl) Trujillo; 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; siblings, Albino, Mary Ann, Yolanda, Danny, and Elizabeth. Ray was born on December 16, 1921 in Avondale, CO, to Senovio and Pauline (Duran) Trujillo. His parents; step-father, Florindo Finn; one brother, Lee Trujillo; three sisters, Ernestinea Gutierrez, Mary Rodriguez, Fanny Duran; one step-brother, Albert Finn and one great grandson Manual Salazar Jr., preceded him in death. Ray was married to Augusta (Candelaria) Trujillo, who also preceded him in death. He is survived by four daughters, Pauline (Phillip) Salazar, Avon (Joseph) Martinez, Loretta (Jerry) Trujillo, Elveria (Joe) Medina; one step-daughter, Lena Cross; one step-son, Darrel Nily; two brothers, Eloy (Vera) Finn, Joe (Julia) Finn; two sisters, Viola (John) Sandoval, Alicia (Joe) Valarde; one step-sister, Modesta Trujillo; one step-brother, Arthuro Finn and numerous, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Ray was a member of the International Laborers Local #578 Union, and Colorado Civilian Conservation Corps. Ray M. Trujillo - Pueblo Chieftain - July 11, 2006 - Ray M. Trujillo, 81, of Pueblo, Colo., passed away July 8, 2006. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Syble (maiden name, Perry-Wakeham) Trujillo, of the family home; Preceded in death by his parents, Ines (maiden name, Gonzalez) and Manual Trujillo; and sister, Mary Hope Clark, in 1992. Ray was born Sept. 21, 1924, in Pueblo. He served with the 315 Bomb Wing in the U.S. Army during WWII. He and Syble were married April 29, 1949, in Raton, N.M. Ray retired as a pharmaceutical representative. Because of his kind nature, Ray was a friend to everyone who knew him. He was a member of St. Pius X Parish and VFW. Funeral Mass, 11 a.m. today, July 11, 2006, St. Pius X Parish, 3130 Morris, with the Rev. Father William Huber as celebrant. Entombment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery Chapel Mausoleum. Reuben Trujillo - Walsenburg World - September 26, 1901 - Burned Alive - Reuben Trujillo, a three year old Mexican boy, was burned to death at ________ His mother had gone for a pail of water leaving him in the house. The boy proceeded to ________ and them setting fire to his clothing. Finding himself afire he either endeavored to put the fire out by rolling on the floor or was overcome by the flames and fell to the floor. When discovered he was in a most frightful condition and the board floor on which he lay was aflame. The fire was put out and the company physician, Dr. D. W. Mathews summoned to attend the boy. Dr. Mathews responded immediately but when he arrived at the scene of the accident the boy was dead and friends had laid the body out. The body was most horribly burned the flesh from the feet to the crown of the head simply hanging in crispy flakes. Dr. Mathews reports that in six years this is the fourth death from careless handling of fire.

Born on Sept. 24, 1958, in Pueblo, the youngest of six children. Preceded in death by his brother, Eugene Joseph Trujillo- and his grandparents, Adolph and Praxades Trujillo, David and Lela Barcelon. Survived by his wife, Elaine A. Garcia, of the family home- daughter, Desiree Hubbard-Trujillo- grandson, DeAngelo Duran- parents, Fritz and Edda Trujillo-stepson, Phil Gonzales- sisters, Rita (Ruben) Romero and Priscilla (Charles)Johnson, all of Pueblo- brothers, Edward (MaryBeth) Trujillo of Plano, Texas, and Daniel (Debbie) Trujillo, Chino, Calif.- nieces and nephews, Bret (Dena)Romero, Mario Romero, Celestee and Elliott Johnson, Michael, Craig, Matthew, Gregory, Justin and Danielle Trujillo. Rey was a car salesman and worked for various car dealers and was employed at A-1 Auto Sales. He was a keyboard, piano player and played with several groups, including Southern Comfort. Richard P. Trujillo - Pueblo Chieftain - March 31, 1986 - Richard P. Trujillo, 35, passed away March 30, 1986, at St. Mary-Corwin Hospital after a lengthy illness. He had graduated from Central High School, class of 1970, and had been employed in New York City as a data processor. Predeceased by his father, Sisto Trujillo, in 1963. Son of Angelina Trujillo. Brother of Oliva (Leo) Galan, Frank Trujillo, Lawrence Trujillo and Ronnie (Helen) Trujillo. Uncle of Mary, Elba and Mile Galan and Heather and R. J. Trujillo. Also survived by several aunts and an uncle and a close friend, Ken Meyerson. Recitation of the rosary and Memorial Mass at St. Mary Church at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Cremation. He was a painting contractor and owned SIRO Painting Co. in Colorado Springs. Mr. Trujillo was a commercial painter with Mondo's Painting from 1980 until 1987. Mr. Trujillo lived in the community all his life. He was a member of the JUSTUS car club. He was married May 19, 1984, in Colorado Springs, to Yvette Denise Vigil, who survives. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Trujillo is survived by a son, Ricky Gene Jr.; a daughter, Candace Renee; two sisters, Renee Lobato of Colorado Springs and Sharon Duran of Santa Rosa, Calif.; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gutierrez of Pueblo and Mrs. Telesforo Trujillo of Colorado Springs; and two-great-grandmothers and a great-grandfather.

Preceded in death by his parents, Fermin and Eleanor; son, Andres; sisters, Doris (David) Armijo and Nancy; and brothers, Fernando (12-28-04), Ralph, George, Victor and Samuel. Robert is survived by his daughters, Regina, Sheena, and Jennifer; sons, Robert Jr. and Isaac Moncivaiz; three grandchildren, Andres, Abreann and Angela; two godchildren, Maria Montoya and Christopher Armijo; sisters, Edith (Juan) Leiba, Catherine, Peggy (Joe "Shorty") Espinoza, Betty (Gene) Bustemonte and Corine; brother, Mike (Rose); and numerous nieces and nephews. Robert loved spending time with family, friends and his beloved dog, "Chico Patas," listening to his oldies music, and he shared his love of boxing in his younger years. Rosendo Trujillo - Pueblo Chieftain - November 17, 2004 - Rosendo Trujillo, 77, of Mesa, Ariz., passed away on Nov. 13, 2004. Rosendo was formerly of Pueblo, Colo. He was born in Lagunitas, N.M., on Oct. 1, 1927, to Santiago and Dorothea Trujillo. After his parents' death, he was adopted by his brother, Flavio and his wife, Amalia Trujillo of Florence, Colo. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ida J. (Martinez) Trujillo; son, Donald Trujillo; and his adopted father, Flavio Trujillo. He is survived by his son, Ron Trujillo of Chandler, Ariz.; and daughter, Rose Ann (Eduardo) Gonzales of Littleton, Colo. Rosendo left behind six granddaughters, Collette, Darla, Christina, Elizabeth, Rochelle and Marissa; one grandson, Paul; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. He also is survived by his mother, Amalia of Pueblo, Colo.; five brothers, Juan C. (Mercy) of Pueblo West, Colo., Rosalio (Vicki) of Florence, Colo., Tomas (Colleen) of Hygiene, Colo., Santiago (Cecilia) of Pueblo, Colo., Ambrose (Jane) of Broomfield, Colo.; and three sisters, Frances Bustos of Colorado Springs, Colo., Vicki Espinoza of Pueblo, Colo. and Charlotte (David) Saenz of Aurora, Colo. Rosendo retired from the Colorado Fuel and Iron (CF&I) in May 1981, after 35 years of service. Rosendo served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War. He will be sadly missed by Anthony (TJ) Knight, and his many beloved nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Cipriano Trujillo; parents-in-law, Samuel and Eulalia Pacheco; brother, Carl Trujillo. Survived by his wife, Flora Trujillo; special son, Danny Romero; mother, Margie Trujillo; brothers, Orlando (Marie) Trujillo, Joe (Pat) Trujillo, Rocky (Denise) Trujillo; sisters-in-law, Laura Rivera, Priscilla Martinez, Albuquerque, Janice (Jimmy) Mondragon, Denver; brother-in-law, Robert (Dee) Pacheco, Denver; special friends, Fred (Beth) Koury. Sadie C. Trujillo - Colorado Springs Gazette - December 1, 2003 - Sadie C. Trujillo, 79, peacefully departed this life on November 20, 2003. Sadie was born on August 11, 1924 to Ben and Helena Salas in Watrous, NM, prior to her family moving to Trinidad, Colorado. She is survived by one sister, Lucy Casias of Trinidad, Colorado, and five daughters; Patricia Briseno (Alvan), Barbara Trujillo, Shirley Trujillo, Regina DeMarco (Gary) and Sheila Rodriguez (Carlo); three grandchildren, Jackie Gonzales (Steve), Melissa Briseno, Aubriana Rodriguez and two great grandchildren, Aitana and Orion Gonzales. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emilio Trujillo and one infant daughter; Jacqueline Trujillo. In 1944, she was part of Company 1, 3rd Regiment, (first WAC Training at Fort Des Moines, IA) and served her country during World War II while stationed at Los Alamos, New Mexico. She was a Voluntary Officer at the American Ex-Prisoners of War, Rocky Mountain Chapter, serving as the Historian at the time of her death. Sadie enjoyed a professional career in both retail and in the manufacturing industries before her retirement. She was an outstanding mother to her children, a loyal wife for 57 years, and a dear companion to countless relatives and friends. She will be remembered for her love of life, her joy in adventure and travel, her talent as an artist, her gift of seeing beauty in everything that life offered and most of all, her belief in a kind and generous God. The family would like to recognize the outstanding staff at Memorial Hospital, the Rocky Mountain Cancer Center, Pikes Peak Hospice and Memorial Gardens. Mr. Trujillo was on a weekend trip from Pueblo where he lived with wife and three children. Here in Walsenburg he is survived by three brothers, Aurelio, Elias, and Joseph and by a sister, Doris. Samuel Nathan Trujillo - Huerfano World - July 1, 1993 - Samuel Nathan Trujillo died Friday, June 25, 1993, in Colorado Springs Memorial Hospital about seven hours after he was born prematurely at six months. He was the infant son of Samuel Trinidad and Natalie Lois Laureano Trujillo. Survivors also include two sisters, Jolene Lynette Santistevan and Melissa Raeann Trujillo; his maternal grandparents are Joanne Lee Roybal and William Charles Roybal Sr. and fraternal grandmother is Lily Trujillo. Sofia Trujillo - Pueblo Chieftain - March 06, 2001 - Age 84, of Pueblo, went home to be with the Lord March 5, 2001. Born May 1, 1916, in Trinidad, Colo. Preceded in death by her husband, Joe Trujillo; also preceded in death by parents, Evlalio and Dolorita Trujillo; and four brothers, Bennie Trujillo, Candito Trujillo, Smiley Trujillo and Charlie Trujillo; one sister, Lucy Sanchez; and other half brothers and sisters. Survived by daughter, Connie (John ) Gallegos, Pueblo; sister, Mary Mascarenas; niece, Bernice Lucero and other numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ernie, and a sister, Tillie Escobedo. Ms. Trujillo had lived in Colorado Springs for 13 years, previously living in Pueblo.

Trujillo, 18, of Pueblo, formerly of Hawaii, went to his heavenly home to join his father and grandfather on Friday, Sept. 22, 2000. He had a love for baseball, fishing and the ocean. His father, Arthur "Steve" Trujillo, and his grandfather predecease him. Theodoro “Ted” Trujillo - Pueblo Chieftain - October 24, 2001 - Theodoro “Ted” Trujillo, 86, departed this life Oct. 20, 2001, at his home with his family gathered around his bed. Born Feb. 17, 1915, in Des Moines, N.M. He retired from the CF&I Steel foundry department in 1979. He liked to go to flea markets, meeting people, fishing and working on cars. He also loved to barter. Preceded in death by parents, Cresencio and Delfina (Salazar) Trujillo; first wife, Grace Valdez Trujillo, Sept. 30, 1972; and 12 other siblings. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Ann Garza Trujillo; children, Leo (Delia) Trujillo, Frank Roger (Vonda) Trujillo, Ted (Theresa) Trujillo Jr., Mike Trujillo, Marie (Eddie) Gallegos, Janice (Jimmie) Mondragon, Frances (Joe) Valdez, Emelda (Gilbert) Martinez, Virginia (Luis) Padilla, John (Leona) DeHerrera and Carol (Edmond) Montoya; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including Shawn (Gillian) Herrera, whom Ted raised. Tillie Duran Trujillo - Pueblo Chieftain - October 18, 1998 - Tillie Duran Trujillo, 80, passed away Oct. 14, 1998, at St. Mary-Corwin Hospital. A Pueblo resident since 1951, Mrs. Trujillo was born Feb. 25, 1918, in Ocate, N.M. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Nocturnal Adoration Society, Legion of Mary, Oblate of St. Benedict, Our Lady of Guadalupe Society and various religious retreats. When her health permitted, she attended daily Mass and prayed her rosary daily. She taught her grandchildren to properly say their rosary and read their catechism, to cook, sew and embroider. She also liked to sing. She was a housekeeper in private homes. She married Juan P. Trujillo on March 18, 1939, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, Las Vegas, N.M. Her beloved husband precedes her in death, as do her parents, Alejandro and Juanita Fernandez Duran. Tommy Trujillo - Colorado Springs Gazette - February 1, 1996 – Tommy Trujillo, 68, a licensed plumber for more than 35 years, died Jan. 30, 1996, at a local hospital. Friends may call from noon to 5 p.m. today and a rosary will begin at 7 p.m. today at Angelus Funeral Home, 2535 Airport Road. A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2827 Lakeview Ave., in Pueblo. Burial will follow at Imperial Memorial Gardens in Pueblo. Mr. Trujillo was born Sept. 25, 1927, in Hoehne to Moises and Leanore (Vigil) Trujillo. He was married Sept. 17, 1949, in Pueblo to Angelina Diaz Trujillo, who lives in Colorado Springs. He is also survived by four sons, Michael, Ralph, John and Edward, all of Colorado Springs; two daughters, Susan of Colorado Springs and Patricia Diaz of Arvada; two sisters, Marie Brauda and Eleanor Sanchez, both of Pueblo; and three brothers, Henry of Oxnard, Calif., and Joe and Fred, both of Pueblo; and one grandchild. Mr. Trujillo had lived in Colorado Springs for 18 years and previously lived in Pueblo. He served in the Army for three years and attained the rank of staff sergeant. He was a member of Moose Lodge 244 and enjoyed fishing, gardening and working.

"Jean" as she was known to family and friends was an active member of VFW Auxiliary Post 61, Cooties Military Order of the Cooties No. 7, St. Charles Senior Citizens Club, she also was the bookkeeper for the bingo sessions for both the Cooties and VFW until her illness prevented her participation. William Trujillo - Huerfano World - March 14, 1991 - Former Huerfano William Trujillo, 67, died Feb. 11, 1991, in Cottage Grove, OR. Born in Tioga, he worked on pipeline in Alaska. He was a member of Local 341 Laborers and Hog Carriers. After his retirement in 1972, he moved to Oregon where he made jewelry. He also collected and traded cars and became widely known as "Horse Trader Bill." He is survived by his mother, Emma Enriquez, Walsenburg; two sisters, Mary Ann Early, San Pedro, CA, and Delia Wallace, Denver; a half sister, Amanda Enriquez, Walsenburg. Funeral service was Feb. 15 in Cottage Grove. Cremation.

Willie enjoyed football, hunting, traveling, watching jeopardy, crossword puzzles, Mariachi music and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren. Willie G. Trujillo - Colorado Springs Gazette - March 9, 2007 - Willie G. Trujillo, entered this life on January 31, 1942, entering into his eternal life on March 7, 2007. A Colorado Springs resident and formerly of Costilla, New Mexico, he retired as a chef of 40 years from the Broadmoor Hotel until his retirement in 2002. He was an avid football fan. He is survived by his sisters Percy Ortega, of Colorado Springs, and Rose (husband Gilbert) Lucero of Pueblo, Linda Suaza of Wyoming, a brother Fred Trujillo of Tennessee, and his beloved favorite uncle Frank Sintas. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Casdila Herrera. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 9, 2007 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. with a vigil to follow at 6:00 p.m. at the Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses, 1730 E. Fountain Boulevard. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses.
