This database was originally started with the help of the Huerfano County researchers, but will be added to by persons representing all three counties. The original database started with over 6,000 obituaries. This DOES NOT constitute all of the obituaries available. My utmost THANKS and appreciation to everyone that made this project happen!!! It is literally impossible to note every person that has contributed to this project, as this has taken almost two years to get to this point. So many times I was ready to give it up, but my wonderful volunteers propped me up, dusted me off, and said "Let's get back to work." (grin). Without all of their hard work and support this database would not be online. My utmost appreciation to Louise Adams for jumping in and transferring every file from the database to a word document when my computer refused to cooperate, and for building the Index file as we progressed. Please let all of the volunteers know you appreciate their efforts.
