Survived by her loving husband, Jose Gonzalez; daughter, Rochelle Wallace; her mother; two brothers; five sisters; and grandson, Daniel. Viewing, noon to 2 p.m. Friday, and funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. at Romero Chapel. Interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Andrea Gonzalez - Pueblo Chieftain - October 27, 1999 - Andrea Gonzalez passed away Oct. 24, 1999, in Pueblo. She was born Aug. 16, 1929, in Walsenburg and had lived in Pueblo since 1950. Andrea is survived by her children, Steven Baca, Raul Gonzalez, Mercedes Blair and Ramona Bega; brothers, Mike, Johnny, Jimmy and Nedio Montoya; sisters, Susan (Frank) Medina, Cordelia Trujillo and Anglina Brewer; numerous grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives. At her request, no viewing. Cremation in the Davis Crematory. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 29, 1999, in the Kingdom Hall, 523 E. Pitkin.
Angelica Gonzales - Denver Rocky Mountain News - March 14, 2000 - Angelica Gonzales, 20, of Aurora died March 3 in Walsenburg. Services were March 7. Ms. Gonzalez was born in El Paso, Texas, on May 19, 1979. She was a security monitor technician. She was a member of Denver Church of Christ. Survivors include mother Irma Salas of Aurora; father George of Texas; grandmother Olga Solis of Aurora; grandfather Ricardo Solis of Texas; grandmother Ofelia Martinez of Texas; sister Vanessa Gonzalez of Aurora; brother Jorge Jr., of Aurora.

Anthony Jess Gonzalez - Pueblo Chieftain - May 12, 2005 - Anthony Jess Gonzalez, 74, departed this life May 11, 2005, at St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center. Born Jan. 17, 1931, to Jess and Abundina Hurtado Gonzalez, who precede him in death along with his wife, Ida Abeyta Gonzalez, Dec. 12, 1998; brother Sgt. Joe Rendon in Vietnam, 1969; and his favorite little dog "Lady." Anthony was a custodian at the Colorado State Fair. His favorite pastime was driving through the streets of Bessemer and visiting his daughter, Cynthia. Survived by his children, Cynthia Gonzalez, Anthony (Eva) Abeyta, Sandra (Bart) Keck and Rhoda (Lee) Arguello; siblings, Virginia (Octavio) Salas, Viola (Nash) Gonzalez, Richard Gonzalez and Bob Rendon. Anthony also is survived by eight grandchildren, Sandra Abeyta, Celio (Cathy) Abeyta, Joshua (Crystal) Keck, Merlinda Keck, Jacob Keck, Chad (Doreen) Arguello, Kristy Arguello and Bryan Arguello; six great-grandchildren, Marian Ida Stratton, Antonio and Jesus Abeyta, Joshua Keck, Eric and Kyle Arguello; favorite niece, Judy (Gary) Boman; and a host of other relatives and friends. Cleotelde Maria Gonzales - Pueblo Chieftain - April 11, 1976 - Cleotelde Maria Gonzales, 416 Santa Fe, April 10, 1976. Predeceased by her husband, Manuel Gonzales, Aug. 4, 1944. Beloved mother of Mrs. Lizzie Archuletta, Mrs. Mary Carillo and Lee, Adonis, Bennie and Severo Gonzales, all of Pueblo, and Tony Gonzales, Denver. Also survived by 47 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Born April 8, 1893, in Red Wing, Colo., she was a Pueblo resident for more than 60 years. Member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Feliciano Gonzalez - Pueblo Chieftain - May 09, 1986 - Rev. Feliciano Gonzalez, 89, affectionately known as "Chano," late of 1119 E. Sixth St., died May 7, 1986. Born July 8, 1896, in Hacienda de Macias, Coahela, Mexico. A longtime resident of Florence and lately of Pueblo. Rev. Gonzalez was a retired minister and served as Presbeterio for the Spanish Penecostal Church of God in America in New Mexico and Colorado. Survived by wife, Sofia Gonzalez, and four sons, Joel Gonzales of Los Angeles, Calif., Jose Gonzales of Pueblo, Felix Gonzales of Colorado Springs, and John Gonzales of San Antonio, Texas. A brother of Valentin Gonzalez of San Antonio, Texas, and Petra Castaneda of Phoenix, Ariz. Fourteen grandchildren, Susan, Edward, Geraldine, Rita, Teresa, Michael, Lillian, Anthony, Daniel, Amy, Ricardo, Denene, Dax, and Jason, as well as 14 great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral service, 10 a.m. Saturday at Rivera Chapel, with the Rev. Rafael Salas of Templo la Hermosa, Pueblo, officiating. Interment, Union Highland Cemetery in Florence. She retired from the Colorado State Hospital food service department. She loved her family get togethers for the various holidays and birthdays. Preceded in death by her parents, Manuel S. and Abundia M. (Trujillo) Abeyta- two sisters, Fanny Escarcida and Dora Sintas- a brother, Cecilio Cisco" Abeyta. She leaves to celebrate her life her beloved husband, Anthony J. Mother of Richard (Patricia) Gonzales, Pueblo, Laura (Wes) Walther, Fond du Lac, Wis., and Matthew (Roseann) Glassen of Waco, Texas. Grandmother of Jarrod and Stefanie Gonzales, Kenneth (Karen) Walther, Sandy (David) Howell, Cheryl (Mitch) Jones and Tom (Carol) Glassen. Great-grandmother of Zachary and Leeann Howell, Bryce and Jacob Walther, Melissa, Elizabeth and Kenneth Jones. Also survived by her sister, Margaret Martinez- brothers, John, Jim, Felix and Julian Medina- as well as by numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Gonzales retired from St. Mary-Corwin Hospital. Jose Luis Gonzalez - Pueblo Chieftain - July 28, 1998 - Jose Luis Gonzalez, 54, passed away unexpectedly July 25, 1998 at Parkview Hospital. A lifetime Puebloan, he was born July 23, 1944, in Boone. He served in the U.S. Army and worked as a bartender in various local establishments. Preceded in death by his parents, Carlos and Dionicia Gonzales, and a brother, Andy Gonzales. Survived by siblings, Rena (Joe) Medina, Gabriel (Wilma) Gonzales, Angelina Gonzales, Jess K. Gonzales, Judy (Barney) Gonzales and Theresa (Pancho) Lucero, all of Pueblo, Mike J. (Aurora) Gonzales, Pueblo West, and David (Vivian) Gonzales, Colorado Springs- special friends, Roman Martinez, Bob Wright, Bernie Robertson, B.J. Thompson, Emily Burbich and Cathy- and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. At his request, cremation. Memorial Mass, 10 a.m. Wednesday, St. Mary Catholic Church, Rev. Mrs. Gonzalez was born Julia Blea in Denver on Nov. 19, 1956. She married Robert Gonzalez. Survivors include sons Jesse Aguilar of Walsenburg, Demetrius Blea, Ray Baca III; daughters Darlene Aguilar, Theresa Blea, Monique Blea, Mia Baca, all of Denver; sisters Janet Negrete, Julia "Jube" Martinez, Rose Castro; brothers Joseph Blea, Jerry Blea, Tomas Blea, Steve Blea, Tony Aragon, all of Denver; four grandchildren.

Julian M. "Champ" Gonzalez - Pueblo Chieftain - November 06, 2000 - Julian M. "Champ" Gonzalez, 79, born Jan. 9, 1921, in Jerez Zacatecas, Mexico, passed away Nov. 4, 2000. Preceded in death by his parents, Lorenzo and Luisa Menchaca Gonzalez; grandmother, Eduvjez Garcia; and son, SP4 John D. Gonzalez. Survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Theresa (Terry) Gonzalez; son, Joe (Margaret) Gonzalez; siblings, Trinidad (Gilbert) Aranda, Paul Gonzalez, Ralph (Angie) Gonzalez, Max (Susie) Gonzalez, Vincente (Gloria) Gonzalez; in-laws, Clevie (Linda) Aranda of Torrance, Calif., Louise Lucy (Eugene) Santiago of Sacramento, Calif., Virginia Bussard of Huntington Beach, Calif., Ray (Charlene) Aranda of Harbor City, Calif.; grandchildren, Eugene (Diane) Gonzalez, Vincente Gonzalez, Monica Jo (Kwan) McKee; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of World War II having landed on Normandy Beach on D-Day. He received the Medal of Jubilee. Julian "Champ" worked at CF&I's famous coke plant for 36 years. Manuel Gonzalez - Pueblo Chieftain - August 7, 1944 - Manuel Gonzalez, a resident of Fulton Heights for the last 32 years, died at a local hospital Sunday morning after an illness of eight months. He was the husband of Mrs. Tillie Gonzalez, the father Pfc. Lee Gonzalez and Pvt. Adonis Gonzalez now serving in the US Army overseas. Also, the father of Mrs. Lizzie Archuletta, Bennie, Mary, Tony and Severo Gonzalez of Pueblo. He was a member of Sacred Heart church, Fulton Heights and C.R. y R. B.
